Engaged for years in collecting data on the activities of hemodynamic centres in Italy, GISE hosted on May 30th, 2024 its annual meeting with representatives of health professionals, policy-makers, administrators, and patients to discuss the definition of a model of interventional cardiology in constant positive evolution and truly sustainable.
The RESIL-Card project was presented to the audience by Dr Francesco Saia (President of GISE) during one of the programme sessions addressing “Access to care: the patient perspective and the resilience of health services” with the objective to raise awareness on the importance to build more resilient cardiovascular care pathways that will guarantee care access continuity in the future.
